Jack, Marc and Katie attended the Bend Chamber Impact Conference on Wednesday, November 19^th. It was good to gather with 500 other businesspeople who invest in this community and around Central Oregon. Economists and AI specialists highlighted changes that can be expected in the near future. Hearing a regional take on growth, the challenges small businesses and residents face, and the proposed policy changes that could potentially make a difference for Oregon’s future was energizing for the team.

A national economist related that there currently are economic indicators that typically would prompt the Federal Reserve Board to raise rates and indicators that would prompt them to lower rates. This mixed data is the likely culprit for the lack of consensus among the members.
